PRIDE YOGA

Honouring the community’s bravery, resilience, and determination to fight for equal rights, visibility and respect, as well as a call for our allies and community leaders to have the courage to stand up for a more inclusive society." - Dr Lauren Butterly

 

Join us for a celebration of Pride Month and of all the incredible gender and sexually diverse individuals within our team, our community, and beyond.

This class will be co-led by TWO Vital Beat teachers, Kaye 🌈 & Kate 🌈. They will guide you through a 90 minute fusion class, combining slow flow vinyasa, and yin yoga designed for our LGBTQIA+ community and allies. This class focusses on playful, mindful movement, and body neutrality - a heart-centred expression of Bravery. You are encouraged to dress in Rainbow-inspired attire!

Vital Beat is a music driven studio and loves a good beat so naturally you can expect an accompanying Pride soundtrack!

Tickets are $25 and all proceeds go to the Freedom Centre, an incredible organisation that offers support to Rainbow Youth & their loved ones in WA. FC provide a broad range of support services for LGBTIQA+ young people around WA, including drop-in sessions, community development, counselling and much more. So come join the fun, whether you identify as LGBTQIA+, an ally or simply want to support a valuable and essential resource!
