LEVEL 2 YIN YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

3 DAY COURSE : 4th-6th OCTOBER 2024
Take your personal practice and professional Yin Yoga teaching to the next level, with the support of experienced guides.
Hugh & Becca from The Way Of Yin are thrilled to invite you for an extraordinary three-day training.  An intensive that delves into the connection between a Yin practice and Chinese Medicine.

This advanced training is designed for teachers with experience teaching Yin classes, or, previous Yin Yoga training (such as Hugh's Level 1) to expand your confidence as a yoga teacher and deepen your heart-wisdom connection to your practice.

A mix of education, embodiment, self-reflection and application, experienced live, together with a gentle and compassionate community.

It is a journey of the 5 Elements of Chinese Medicine,  which is a process of alchemical change. Each morning, as we travel through each element, of metal, water, wood, earth and fire,  we learn about the philosophy that underpins Chinese Medicine, Daoism. Becca will transmit to you an understanding of the ‘Three Treasures’ Qi, Jing, Shen, as well as Yin and Yang, and the role of the emotions in TCM theory, and of course the meridian channels.

Every afternoon we focus on the real-world application of Yin Yoga practice and teaching. Hugh brings his wealth of experience as Melbourne's most pre-eminent Yin Trainer, to facilitate ‘Yoga Lab’. Here you will identify and dissolve any obstacles that have come up in your teaching. Within the collective wisdom of our group, you'll engage in dynamic brainstorming sessions, thought-provoking discussions, revision exercises, and develop new classes.

Each day ends with a blissful restorative Yin class, co-taught by Hugh and Becca. This allows you to learn through receiving and experiencing plus fully embrace a state of deep relaxation and including Elemental Yoga Nidra, Meditation, or Acupuncture in the 60 min class.

These 25 hours are a profound professional development immersion filled with invaluable resources, wondrous insights, practical tools, and nurturing mentorship, all tailored to enhance your journey as a Yin Yoga instructor.

*25 hours can be counted as CPD (Continuing Professional Development) points with Yoga Alliance or Yoga Australia
